My name is Carolina and I am a womenswear designer with a degree in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (2005). Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with renowned global brands such as Converse and Tommy Hilfiger, honing my skills in creating versatile and impactful designs. In 2015, inspired by my connection to the natural environment, I began exploring holistic and sustainable approaches to design. 

That same year, I took an apprenticeship course on beekeeping, which deepened my understanding of our ecosystem. In 2021, I partnered with two friends to register our first nonprofit, Island Bee Project, dedicated to spreading pollinator awareness through public programming and access to local urban apiaries. Today, I am passionate about crafting thoughtful, eco-conscious fashion while educating others on sustainability’s vital role in our industry.
